Job Description
Positions for the 2021 season are currently filled. Please check back during the fall to inquire about positions for the 2022 season.
We hire part-time crew member(s) that will assist in all farm activities. This includes greenhouse seeding, irrigation, harvest, delivery, transplanting, and weeding. As the season progresses, the individual may be asked to help with bouquet making.
The right candidate needs to be willing to work outside in all weather conditions including rain and heat. Farm experience is not required, but experience working outdoors is highly recommended. Candidates that enjoy physical work, horticulture, or agriculture are encouraged to apply.
Position Start Date: March 12th 2021
Position End Date: September 24th 2021
Hours per week: 5
Starting Pay: $13 per hour + free flowers
Requirements
Employees must have a valid drivers license, be able to lift 40 lbs, and demonstrate effective communication skills. The ability to follow instructions, be on time, and ask questions when directions are unclear are highly desired attributes.
The preferred work hours are Friday afternoon from 12-5pm. However, if you have the right skills, you may be able to work any 5-hour daytime shift that fits with your schedule.
The farm follows COVID guidelines.
